under starsThe night sky in its expansive darkness hung over head, shrouding everything in secrecy and mystery. The universe, vast and so seemingly empty continued to stretch on to touch the very boundaries of time. All of those other worlds distantly suspended above, but really surrounding this one, all doing the very same cosmic dance around stars. All of this happened continually unaware of him sitting alone in the dark, watching the moonlight dance through the shadows on the dusty floor. He sat in silence. Holding the cold steel blade in one hand and a life he at times despised in the other. His solution; put one against the other and see which was under stars

War ZoneAn armed soldier roughly escorting a masked rebel, his hands tied behind his back. How many times have I taken this photograph now? A dozen, maybe two, maybe close to a hundred times or possibly more.   I don’t think I could even tell you whose flag that soldier pledged his allegiance, they all blend together for me now, as do these battles.   Minutes after I took the shot I was grabbed from behind by one of the soldiers comrades.
